On August 18, in Mayotte, Minister of National Education Elisabeth Borne met with elected officials and labor unions.
Internationally, U.S. President Donald Trump hosted Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and European leaders, including French President Emmanuel Macron, at the White House.
On August 19, Elisabeth Borne visits Réunion as Minister of National Education to mark the start of the school year.
