Terms and Conditions

These General Terms and Conditions of Sale govern the business relationship between our company and its customers.

1. These general terms and conditions of sale apply in all cases, unless otherwise specified or agreed upon in the text of the contractual documents or their annexes.

2. MEDIAMETRIE operates under an obligation of means in accordance with the code of fair practices applied by the profession and the CCI/ESOMAR guidelines. In the event of a technical error error There are different types of errors in surveys : coverage error (the sampling base does not correspond exactly to the population studied), non-response error (a part of the sample does not wish to answer certain questions), measurement error (the value declared by the individual is incorrect) and sampling error (only a part of the population is observed). 3. MEDIAMETRIE agrees to treat all information provided by the client as strictly confidential and to use it, if necessary, solely for the purpose of preparing reports. All results communicated by MEDIAMETRIE remain the property of MEDIAMETRIE and must be kept confidential by the client, who agrees to take the necessary measures to prevent any unauthorized reproduction and/or broadcast both within and outside the client’s company. The client is not authorized, without the written consent consent Any freely given, specific, informed and unambiguous indication of the data subject's wishes through which he or she, by a statement or by a clear affirmative action, signifies agreement to the processing of personal data relating to him or her. MEDIAMETRIE reserves the right to choose the means by which it performs the services entrusted to it, particularly with regard to the selection of personnel and the use of subcontractors.


5. Prices are always quoted exclusive of tax; VAT at the rate in effect at the time of invoicing will be added. Their nature (fixed or subject to revision) and amount are specified in the order confirmation or the contract.


6. Studies priced at 4,500 euros or less, excluding tax, are invoiced and paid upon order placement. When the price of the study exceeds 4,500 Euros excluding tax, a down payment invoice for an amount equal to 50% of the price is issued upon acceptance of the proposal, and the balance is invoiced upon delivery of the results. Advance payment invoices are payable in full upon order placement; all other invoices are payable within 30 days of the invoice date. In the event of non-payment of such invoices within the specified timeframes, MEDIAMETRIE will suspend the service in progress within 48 hours after a formal notice remains unanswered, for as long as payment has not been made. In addition, late payment penalties will be calculated from the due date until the date of full payment, at a rate equal to three times the statutory interest rate, without this clause affecting the enforceability of the debt. These penalties shall be payable upon receipt of the notice informing the customer that MEDIAMETRIE has charged them to the customer’s account.
The client agrees, when necessary in light of its internal operating procedures, to issue an internal purchase order and to provide MEDIAMETRIE with, at the Signature of the order, the relevant details enabling MEDIAMETRIE to issue the invoice in the format required by the client, such as the internal purchase order number, without this example being exhaustive. The provision of this information constitutes an essential obligation on the part of the client. In the event of a breach of this obligation, MEDIAMETRIE reserves the right to suspend the performance of the service until the client has remedied said breach.


7. The data data Digital data Find out more storage media as well as all documents used during the conduct of the study remain the property of MEDIAMETRIE. Unless otherwise specified by the client, MEDIAMETRIE reserves the right to destroy the materials described above two years after the results are delivered. All or part of the material used to conduct the study will be retained beyond this period only upon the client’s written request. Storage costs may then apply depending on the nature of the retained material and the duration of retention.


8. Any amendment to the above terms and conditions must be made in writing.


9. The Commercial Court of Paris shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute or litigation.
