Médiamétrie Becomes a Mission-Driven Company.

A new mission statement? Yes. But above all, a commitment.

That of enshrining in our bylaws a mission that has always guided our actions:
“To advance rigorous, transparent and collectively governed audience measurement audience measurement Quantitative study of the frequency of use of media. Find out more , supporting a balanced media ecosystem, a cornerstone of our democratic society.”

In a market where consumption patterns are changing, where the boundaries between media are blurring, and where the number of players is growing, having a trusted measurement system is more essential than ever.

This trust rests on three requirements: rigor, transparency, and collaboration. Rigor to produce accurate and reliable measurement. Transparency to ensure that the metric is understandable and verifiable. Collaboration to work with the entire market to establish common rules and a metric accepted by all.

This is what enables the ecosystem to have a currency in common : a shared framework for fairly valuing audiences and contributing to media funding.

Becoming a Mission-Driven Company means providing a framework and a vision for this responsibility.

Four objectives enshrined in our bylaws now guide our actions: develop reliable and transparent measurement solutions, anticipate and integrate tomorrow’s media uses, Promote fair representation of market stakeholders in measurement governance, and contribute to the development of sustainable and sovereign measurement systems.

These are long-term commitments that extend beyond strategic cycles and reinforce our role as an independent third party in a rapidly evolving ecosystem.

We are building this mission together with you. Because trust in measurement cannot be decreed. It is built, as always, together with everyone who brings it to life.

Enjoy reading—and discovering our Mission.
