Piracy

Piracy of audiovisual and cinematographic works constitutes an infringement of national or European intellectual property legislation. It is reflected in particular by: the mass provision downloading or broadcasting to the public on the Internet, without authorisation from the rights holders, protected works, with emphasis on those making significant profits (advertising earnings, donations, etc.), sales outside legal channels of audiovisual media, non-compliance with first broadcast rights, etc.
