eStat Podcast

Measurement of podcast consumption by screen

How can you quantify the success of your content and improve your understanding of the behaviour of users who download this content?

Given the huge increase in podcast downloads, our own eStat Podcast measurement delivers the indicators you need to be able to respond to your editorial issues and to develop podcast audiences further in the audio digital universe.

eStat Podcast counts the number of podcast downloads

  • Next-day measurement of podcast consumption by screen
  • Study user behaviour, engagement and loyalty
  • Respond to your editorial direction and space development issues

eStat Podcast allows detailed measurement of the number of downloads:

  • On all platforms (Publisher, iTunes, Deezer, aggregators, etc.)
  • On all devices (computer, mobile, tablet, smart speakers, etc.)
  • With a global scope, thanks to the filtering out of abusive downloads, atypical IP and robot downloads

Using a simple setup: the eStat redirect URL is inserted into the classic audio file download request chain.

Indicators available by time slot, day, week or month:

  • Number of podcasts downloaded
  • Number of non-duplicated download users

Four possible levels of customised reporting: programme, genre, episode... depending on the desired tagging plan.

Granularity: by operating system, and by city / country location.

Next-day reporting of results. Data visualisation in a dedicated interface, the same as is used for the eStat Streaming measurement.
