The Syndicat des Radios Indépendants (Association of independent radio stations) was formerly known as the Syndicat Interprofessionnel des Radios et Télévision Indépendants (Association of independent radio & TV stations). It is the leading independent audiovisual association in France. It brings together nearly 180 private radio stations spanning independent, local, regional, special-interest and general-interest sectors.
