Personal Portable Audience Meter (PPAM)
A people meter in the form of a small box that is worn by the panellist around their neck, waist or wrist. This box analyses the ambient sound to detect the panellist's exposure to TV or Radio media. It periodically transmits its measurements to the servers at the audience measurement company, either autonomously via a cellular network, or by connecting via Bluetooth to a station installed in the panellist’s home.
