Internet Box

An internet box is a device supplied by a telecommunications operator for connecting to the Internet. It is a gateway between your home and the network of your Internet Service Provider (ISP). The box combines several functions: it provides Internet access via ADSL, fibre, cable or 4G/5G, but also offers additional services such as fixed telephony and television. This box is a multiplexer because it combines data from different domestic equipment (telephone voice, television images, web pages, etc.) on a single channel to the Internet.
