Factor Analysis
A method of statistical analysis that aims to condense the data in many variables by creating new variables called factors or factorial axes and create a graphical representation of the population according to the most segmenting characteristics. It is used whenever there are too many analysis variables for the representation of individuals in the space formed by these variables to be visually understood. The main methods of factor analysis are principal component analysis (PCA), correspondence analysis (CA) and multiple correspondence analysis (MCA).
