ACCES
The Association des Chaînes du Câble et du Satellite (Association of cable and satellite channels) was created in October 1997. In 2004, it became the Association des Chaînes Conventionnées éditrices de Services (Association of government-regulated channels providing services). Today, it includes 35 French channels which hold an agreement with the Conseil Supérieur de l'Audiovisuel (Higher Council for the Audiovisual Sector) to broadcast via cable, satellite and ADSL, digital terrestrial broadcasting, or over another electronic communications network in France.
