Total Internet Audience in France in September 2020

8 out of 10 young people connected to websites and apps for training and education
In September, an average of 45.2 million French people used the Internet every day, i.e. 100,000 people more than a year ago. 72.1% of French people go online daily, an increase of +0.2 points compared to September 2019. The French people spent an average of 2 hours 17 minutes online every day, which is 6 minutes more than in September 2019 Over the month, and in a specific context in this new school year, 31.5 million Internet users (or more than 1 in 2 French people) connected to training and education websites and applications, which recorded 4.2 million additional visitors in one year. Offering remote learning, private lessons and digital working environments, these websites and apps brought together 79.5% of 15-24 year olds during the month, up 10.6 points in one year. Beyond young people, almost three quarters of 35-49 year olds (74.1%) also consulted this category of websites and applications.
