September 2021 podcast measurements

Press release
Podcasts are back to school in great shape with nearly 136 million listenings, an all-time record

Podcasts are the star format for the new school year

With almost 136 million French podcasts listened to or downloaded around the world, September marks an all-time record.

While the sharp increase in listenings in 1 year (+42%) is partly linked to the enlargement of the scope taken into account, the 26% additional listenings compared to August 2021 undoubtedly confirm the growing success of this format among French people.
